We continue to mourn the loss of our beloved Stephanie who was tragically stolen from us on June 25, 2011, we have finally found JUSTICE FOR STEPHANIE!
Stephanie Gonzalez, was found dead in her home. The coroner confirmed that Stephanie’s death was a homicide and her estranged husband, Eduardo Puentes Estrada was quickly identified as the primary suspect. Stephanie leaves behind three precious children, D’Srey, K’iawna and Andres. A warrant was issued for his arrest and the Elko County District Attorney filed charges of open murder against Eduardo on June 29, 2011. Eduardo was a fugitive from justice but was finally arrested on the outskirts of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on October 26, 2014. After waiting for a year, he was extradited back to Reno, NV on October 23, 2015. Trial commenced on October 18, 2016 and on October 25, 2016 he was found guilty of First Degree Murder and was sentenced to LIFE WITH NO PAROLE!

Stephanie's three beautiful children, and her entire family, finally have justice for their mother, daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter and cousin. Our Elko Community has stepped up in so many ways for her children. Thank you to our family, friends, law enforcement-Elko Police Dept., Sheriff Dept., FBI, U.S. Marshalls, and the Mexican law enforcement, to our District Attorney's office and our wonderful community and surrounding areas and any one we may have missed, who supported us in seeking JUSTICE FOR STEPHANIE!
No words can express our gratitude...God Bless you all!
